Taylor Force “Force For Good” Memorial Scholarship

This is a $5,000 scholarship that will be awarded to a veteran transitioning out of the military who is looking to further their career goals either through attending an institution of higher education, completing a trade school/course or obtaining professional certification. The scholarship will be awarded in memory of Taylor Force, an Army Veteran who was tragically killed in 2016 during a school-sponsored trip for Vanderbilt University graduate students to learn about startup companies overseas. Please apply by the date listed, to be considered for the scholarship.

Honoring Taylor

Taylor Force was tragically killed in 2016 during a school-sponsored trip from Vanderbilt University, where graduate students were sent to learn about startup companies overseas. Force attended high school at the New Mexico Military Institute, graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2009, and served five years as an active-duty officer from 2009 to 2014. He was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, and deployed to Afghanistan to support Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraq to support Operation New Dawn.
